Really good pizza and pasta, nice service and the cook was friendly. After all good experience paired with a nice view on the old buildings. You will feel like you're in Italy for a short time. Check it out!

At first glance, the restaurant makes an excellent impression. Modern furnishings, a wine and delicatessen department and, above all, a top-quality stone oven. But if you want to eat something, the impression is deceptive. The waiting times fluctuate a lot, sometimes you wait 20 minutes until you are even noticed, sometimes the food comes very quickly. As is well known, the most important thing in a restaurant is taste. Already the first point of criticism, especially when you consider that the production of an artisanal pizza does not even take 10 minutes. If you are looking for authentic, tasty Italian cuisine, you are unfortunately wrong here. The pizza in particular is a pure disappointment. The expectations of me were high after seeing the pizza oven, but they were immeasurably undershot, which is due to the poor quality of the basic ingredients. The dough is tasteless and has obviously had too short a resting time, the taste of the tomato sauce and the mozzarella is also imperceptible. Here you should fall back on higher quality, tastier products. Unfortunately, the conclusion of the fresh food counter is not exactly positive either. The staff clearly has little competence about the goods, mixes up products and does not know all the names of the products. Overall, the restaurant has a lot of potential in terms of location and interior, but unfortunately this is not fully exploited.

Was there for the first time. We reserved a table beforehand so no long waiting time. The hygienic measures are observed. The restaurant was well attended and makes a good impression. Lovely decorated. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and very hot. The price-performance ratio is good. I can only recommend a visit. The disadvantage is that the parking spaces are about 10 minutes' walk away and are subject to a charge.

Been here for the second time. Food was delicious both times. Service okay and waiting time in each case. I can definitely recommend it and it will definitely not be the last time.

Waited over an hour for the food (pasta). At the beginning the waiter said it could take longer because the pasta is freshly made. But it was just plain spaghetti and no homemade pasta. Both the Cabonara and the Gorgonzola sauce had a hobby-cooking level. Then the waiter was also cheeky. Not recommendable.

We were in Hameln for three days and really enjoyed the atmosphere! Great wines, delicious Italian things such as Parma ham, Salami Milano and delicious cheeses! And very nice service! Gladly again!

The Italo was recommended to me by friends who gave me a voucher. Was then almost put off by the reviews ... Luckily I tried it anyway. The pizza was just great, we received a friendly welcome on a Sunday evening without a reservation. The waiting time from arriving, ordering to eating was 40 minutes, I think that's absolutely fine. Ate there several times. Very nicely decorated and great selection of Italian products inside. The quality of the food itself varies. When it is full, organization and processes are completely overwhelmed. Unfortunately not an isolated case. Long waiting times that the waiter somehow has to pay for, which he doesn't always manage. Ordered twice for a fixed date and waited more than 30 minutes. Unacceptable. Taste rather average. Both pasta and pizza. Conclusion: Nice location, when it is full, quickly overwhelmed and with average food. Two out of five. More like three out of five for the taste.

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our pasta, although the request for penne instead of ribbon pasta was not taken into account. Unfortunately, a second drink never arrived at the table. The food was delicious but the service is a disaster. We had to wait an extremely long time to pay.

2nd visit total failure. Waited almost 1 hour for pasta and salad. The salad total disappointment. The portion of pasta was very small. We were through with the meal in 12 minutes. Service poor. Very promising the first time, so disappointed the second time that I had to rate it. Definitely the last time for us.

Yes, the waiter was special, but I didn't think he was "cheeky", but rather funny. You have to understand and like humor. I prefer it to be looser, not so conservative.
